Guided Tissue Regeneration
This surgical procedure "regenerates" the previously lost bone and gingival tissue. This procedure utilizes a membrane, which is placed over the bone defect. Most membranes placed are bio-resorbable and does not require a second surgery for removal. Other materials utilized for regeneration are bioactive gels and bone grafts.
